I'm sorry, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I think that Sarah Palin would make a horrible president. I really DO NOT want Sarah Palin to be the first woman president, because then all of the sexists would use it as a reason why we shouldn't vote a woman into office. And Donald Trump... O_o

Sarah Palin? ...

Oh, please no. I'm all for a woman president, but I agree with Emma--we need a really amazing one if we want to keep up the reputation, and Hilary Clinton or Sarah Palin are two people who could NOT do that. -_-

Than you SO MUCH WW!

I think that Hilary Clinton would make a great woman president. One of the big reasons why she didn't beat Obama in the Democratic Candidate thingy (trust me, I'm totally happy with Obama. I was actually totally impartial because I knew that they would both make great presidents), was because she was a woman, and some people just aren't ready for a woman president. To them I say kiss my... deriere.

HayleyJ, PLEASE read my edit on my first post!

Hm, really? I just didn't like the way she lied about having been under fire, and then people realized she never HAD been, and she covered with something lame like: "Oh, slip of the tongue..."

I do agree with you, but there are good and bad things about people, and the good about Hilary Clinton definately out-number those of Sarah Palin.
Don't get me wrong, Sarah Palin is very very determined, and she's not an idiot. I mean, it's not a small thing to become Miss USA (or whatever) then mayor of a small town in Alaska to being Governer of Alaska to being a vice-presidential candidate to being a presidential candidate. I just think she has more... street smarts than politics smarts.
I also don't get why she supported her teenage daughter's pregnancy after part of her campaign was strongly in favor of abstinence. I just think that it's a little hypocritical.

I really hope they have Tina Fey back on SNL for the 2012 elections. Hehehe.

My view on Sarah Palin is . . . well, I think she's a great person, but not really who we need as President or Speaker of the House or anything super important like that. Governer of Alaska is as far as she needs to go. But she does seem like a great person, though.

I agree that she is a great person who is street smart. But she's hypocritical abaout things, and if she passes little lies around about little things, who's to know she woulnd't lie to us? Governor of Alaska's best...
