"What?! What kind of cafe doesn't have kettle corn?"
"May I suggest," the cashier says, gesturing halfheartedly at the menu tacked up to the wall, "our daily soup special?"
"Does it have tomato?"

"UGH! Just get me an extra serving of whipped cream on that coco--better yet, I'll take a can."

As she settles down in a corner booth to wait for her order, Heather suddenly spies Pokey and Max chatting nearby. She instantly bolts up and goes over, plopping down in the chair beside Pokey.
"--about you?" Max is asking when she interrupts.
"Omigosh, HAI you guys! Fancy meeting you two here, eh? What're you talking about? Hmmmm???" Heather leans forward and props her hands under her chin.
