Default A KP Book Club?

It's been proposed at least once before, but the thread died…
So, anyone up for it? This is my idea:
We nominate books—published books—and then vote on them. At the end of the month, the book will be announced. We can pick books because they have historical significance, contemporary significance, 'cause someone thinks they're freaking awesome, because they sound interesting, et cetera. Then, at the end of the next month, we can all discuss the book, what we liked and what we didn't. All you have to do is read the book and be there; no signing up or anything. ^_^
Like, if the book was chosen on July 31st, it'd be discussed on August 31st, or whatever date works best for everyone.
*Wonders if my explanation is confusing*
Anyone want to do it?

I guess, sure! I think that's a good idea.

That would be fun. Now, deciding on a book that everyone from ten year olds to high school sophmores will like...

I want to nominate the Moomin series, but it's too obscure. >.<

Sounds good, but as Mistborn pointed out, it's going to be hard to find one to fit all of the age groups of KP.

Suggestions:

Harry Potter
Matilda
The BFG
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Artemis Fowl
A Series of Unfortunate Events

Or The Witches. NO ONE gets old of The Witches.

Yeah, how about Artemis Fowl? Pretty much everyone can appreciate it and there's nothing inappropriate.

Yeah.

HP
Matilda
The BFG

Would you speaking of Roald Dahl The Witches? Or am I mistaken. Hmm... The Inheritance Series, you know, the thing that starts with Eragon...?

Yeah, Roald Dahl's. That book is seriously AWESOME.

The Inheritance Cycle is too fat and boring and LOTR-like, with no offense. I read all of them, and they were sort of mehhhh. Plus, I don't think there would be nine year olds on here who regularly read the series.
