NOOOOO! DON'T CUT MUSIC! Mar, I don't know about your schools system or about your music program, but if they cut music at my school, I would, like, DIE! Chamber Orchestra is one of my favorite classes! I know that none of this stuff applies to me because I go to a private school, but I don't know if you get that it's probably not music OR food, because then, of course, the school board would've chosen food no matter what.

MY Opinion
I honestly think that music is a very important subject, and that it should be kept in schools if possible.
However, if schools are low on funds and money, I have to admit that taking music out of the curriculum would be the right ( but difficult) thing. Granted, music is important, but we need our core classes, first.

I definitely agree with Ruza. Even though I would be devastated if they cut music, it would be necessary. But, before music, I think they should cut after-school activities.

I love music, so that would be the last thing I'd want to cut. Still, I guess you could always take lessons outside of school, and food's more important.

No. Music is one of the only subjects we can express creativity in public schools. My school is a "think-inside-the-box" type of schools, so creativity is not allowed. Music makes me happy.

Yeah, probably. People can bring their own lunches or something!

How can people take a subject away? They can't do that..can they? I mean, I know some people hate music, but I love it.
