You shouldn't please don't. I've only even traced my sewing pins into my hands and watched the blood ease out. I have to tell my parents that I get a lot of paper cuts.

I think I popped a vein. All of a sudden, there was a huge gush of blood and a quarter cup of blood all over the stinking carpet. So I had to feign a nosebleed. -_- dammit.
i hate it when that happens.

Sure, I guess you would count.

(since i'm on this topic.... this is why i kinda sometimes feel awkward posting on this thread. i mean, i'm not a cutter, i'm a self-harmer, and this thread was kinda named specifically. i've been wondering for awhile if i should just make a different thread, because i'm not really talking about cutting in my posts-- i'm talking about self-harming, in general. i'd ask the op of the thread to change the title if she wanted, but i don't think she's on kp anymore. suggestions for me? opinions? mind if i keep posting anyways?)
You'd count, I guess. Just pretend I said "self-harm" instead of cut.

We don't mind you posting.

Serously, it is not going to solve anything. If I could take it back, I so would because it is on my mind all of the time....it is hard to restrain yourself from cutting when you get to a point you do it every day and well, I'm not going to go to in detail but let's just say it got bad and I'll never get rid of some of the scars.
It sucks because in summer you cannot just go swimming (if you are hiding them from family and friends) you have to plan like "I have cuts here, here and here so I cannot wear this, this and this and I can only wear this and this."
If you go to the doctors, it is not easily explained as "falling", "an ccident" etc. They are not stupid.
You run out of places to do it so you end up having to find new places and then you know what? Those run out to, you make scars on scars because there are places you know you cannot cut because people will see and you just have to be able to wear that shirt or that short sleeve or sleeveless dress (like for prom) so arms are off limit to protect from your family getting all upset because you refuse to wear something...
It is not worth it and if someone could have told me all of this before I started, I would have thanked them immensely.
Also, you risk cutting to deep and needing stitches, light-headedness and dizziness because of blood loss/loss of iron (because when you cut your iron levels go down), low iron = you are tired more and other things.
I could go more in detail but I won't.
I've been there and do not start...really, it is not going to solve anything for you, you will make things much worse.
I won't. (I get sickened by blood and stuff *shudder*) It's kind of a test, I guess. :P

@Lydia: Now why the hell would you cut? No offence intended, but really. You seem perfectly happy. Don't throw that away.

She's a good friend. She cares for you, even if this is Holly.
Don't take another razor out.
