lmao i would NOT pay more money for a YA kidpub. how about username transfer, and you lose your username on here if u shift to YA

I think this is a really great idea my only problem is I wouldn't pay for it. And I doubt that KP would do it for free.

yeah, as I said, you could switch from this kp to YA and then you couldn't log in here but new members have to pick one website... that way they still make money off of newcomers?

I agree... but honestly this idea is such a long shot as it is.

I'm being really bitchy (oops. b-bomb for you prudes) and petty on KidPub lately. Sorry. And I say that as mere courtesy because Yatogami Kuroh's policy of judging a person by their actions is fair, and should anyone share such a policy I would like to publicly state that I am not sorry enough to stop.

Nevertheless, I still would really like something like this, and I agree with the points made in this discussion previously.

I don't like this idea because I am ten and actually do more mature writing then you think. I just think it would be offensive to the younger people like me and I read mostly YA books and act above my age a lot. I like kp the way it is and something exclusive like that would make me sad. It's a great idea, but I would not like to be in a kp without you guys as well. Please do not do this to me

okay so I see where you're coming from but please also consider that some of us are growing up and moving on, and being on a site intended for kids/young teens feels lowkey unsettling.

Interesting point. I didn't know this thread existed! But I can see how members are growing up and maturing (including me). This is part of the reason why I use Wattpad (and also because the KP Publishing shut down).
