Default What's Camp NaNoWriMo like?

I want help getting more committed to my novels, so I want to join CampNaNoWriMo, but since guests can't explore the site, I don't know if I'll enjoy it or not, or if it'll help me. I always hear people talking about CampNaNoWriMo, and I want that kind of help, too.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, I've been wondering this, too. What do they do? And is it only for June or is it for the whole summer?

There's one in June and one in August. You're assigned a "cabin" with four other people, and you have a little message board thing with your cabin. You update your word count and stuff. Yeah. *doesn't really know how to go into farther detail*

You write a few thousands of words per day, and you update your word count...and you're supposed to finish writing a novel in a month, or something.

This will explain it all:

I'm trying it out in August. Might as well - I will have nothing else to do.

Thanks, Chelsea. Now I just have to finish my formidable current novel before August. -_-
