Okay. So, I've written part of a novel, and I'm planning on finishing it after I'm done/partly done with my current project. I'm also considering publishing. The problem is, I have no clue what I should call it. So, I thought, Why not hold a contest? So, here's the plot:
Strawberry has always known her mother was hiding things from her. After all, she worked for the CIA. But the day she disappears, Strawberry hops on a train to D.C to unravel her mother's secrets along with her cat, Max, who can talk.
I should also mention the year. It's roughly 30 years into the future, and the government hides thing from people unless it's extremely important. An asteroid has been orbiting the earth for about a decade, but it posed no serious threat and the public never knew about it.
But it suddenly slams down into China when Strawberry is on the train. Strawberry, Max, another boy, and a handful of survivors make their way to the nation's capital, half because they think there's something there, and part because Strawberry was heading there in the first place. They have to battle giant dust clouds, extreme weather, and hunger as they make their way to D.C.
