Lightbulb His Dark Materials (Golden Compass)

I can't believe there hasn't been one of these yet. I just love the whole idea and universe of this series. Honestly, I am infuriated by the last two books, but the first was amazing.

Anyone else feel the same?

That's awesome. You should figure out how to make some armor for him.

I just love the concept of having your very soul walking alongside you in the form of an animal.

I think mine would settle on a tomcat, because I'm so hostile and easy to anger.

It was good... but the ending butchered it. Lyra was great, though.

I agree. When I saw the movie again after a few years, as I was watching the "end," I popped up and started shouting about how they cut out the real end when...his name was Will, right?...dies.

XD No, his name was Roger... Will was the main character in second + third books. xP But yeah... I guess they just didn't want to invest in the others.

Yeah. I still sometimes wish that they made more, just so I could fantasize about it. Sometimes I pretend I have a daemon snuggling near me.
