PROLOGUE






Narim stood on the cliff, looking to the setting sun in on the horizon. He looked down at the crashing waves of the sea. It seemed more chaotic than usual, but instead of shrinking away from its fury, he stepped forward to the jutting edge.
Without fear, he gazed straight down, seeing only the ocean. The wind started blowing off the cliff, but Narim seemed oblivious. It howled in his ears, warning him, but he did not heed it.
He jumped.
His body did not flail around; instead, as if attracted like a magnet, he turned back to the cliff’s edge as he fell. He had a single glimpse of a girl of about his age standing there, her red hair fluttering in the wind and the worried look on her face before he was swallowed by the merciless waters.




A/N: Yeah, this is completely random… I didn't edit it at all, and I wrote it in a few minutes, so it probably isn't very good.

'S really good for not being edited at all. :3 I didn't understand the end, though... :/

The last script prologue I posted was LST's, from awhile ago. I was going to see if he recognized it. But anyway here's my actual prologue. tell me what you think.



Prologue

Zooms slowly up on property with small house, it is sunny, birds are tweeting and crickets chirping, looks deceivingly like an ordinary summer day until door to home opens violently and a father and son come running out, they run across the property, then stop in front of a root cellar door and the father opens it. Son goes in first and father behind him. they sit down nervously and kid has tears on face. Father looks at him worriedly.

FATHER
"Kurt, you don't need to worry.....Everything'll be okay"

Screen cuts to black as the root cellar shakes and explosion sounds. After several seconds of silence, black screen blinks/fades into bright blue sky.

CLOSE UP: Kurt's face as he blinks against the sun.

Kurt slowly pulls himself out from under a bunch of dirt and boards. Kurt sits up and looks around, Everything is overgrown, a shed he and his father passed while getting to the root cellar lays in ruins and bushes grow out of its roof. Kurt's face creases in confusion. Kurt rubs his for-head and stands up. Kurt has a small flashback of everything before it was ruined. Kurt slowly walks down overgrown road.
