hello did you say chopin? YOU'RE GONNA REGRET THIS I'M SORRY

OKAY SO I FREAKING LOVE HIS NOCTURNES AND I HAD A BOOK OF THEM AND I'M PLAYING ONE AT A STATEWIDE CONVENTION NEXT MONTH. IT'S THE NOCTURNE IN C MINOR (POSTHUMOUS) AND IT'S APPARENTLY THE LEAST KNOWN OF HIS NOCTURNES WHICH MAKES NO SENSE BECAUSE IT'S THE MOST AMAZING AND IT'S ALSO LIKE THE ONLY PIECE I CAN PLAY WITH SOME LEVEL OF EXPRESSION. AND I PAGE TURNED FOR ONE OF THEM BEFORE AND I SIGHTREAD IT ON FLUTE AND IT FAILED BC SIGHTREADING BUT I THINK I PUT IT ON MY BLOG JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT AND ALSO BECAUSE MY VIBRATO WAS REALLY GOOD IN IT.

BUT HIS ETUDES ARE SO FREAKING TIRESOME LIKE HAVE YOU SEEN THE SHEET MUSIC FOR OCEAN ETUDE? I'M NOT PLAYING THAT FOR A REASON OKAY I'M NOT A VIRTUOSO OR ANYTHING. WHY MUST YOU BE SO AMAZING YET ANNOYING AT ONCE, FREDERIC FRANCOIS CHOPIN???? *endless screaming noises*

and my friend's in orchestra and she will not stop crying over vivaldi XD surprisingly i haven't learned much by him though... and this doesn't have anything to do with anything but there's this one debussy piece that i literally have cried out loud and started swearing while playing because it's so fast and there are so many notes ugh

"there are so many notes" should not be a problem for me but i'm a huge dork so it is XD

Last edited by meerkat; 04-13-2015 at 11:35 PM. Reason: I REMEMBERED OCEAN ETUDE AND MY AWFUL EXPERIENCES WITH IT

Ahahahaha, your enthusiasm is catching. I don't know or remember much when it comes to music terms, but I've been exposed to a few pieces by Chopin and Vivaldi, and they are wonderful to study and listen to. Bach's work is great too.
