Default How cliche can you be?

Try to make up the most cliche, overused plots here.

A poor kid with his/her parents dead finds out that he/she has magic powers and is more important than he/she is.

A bunch of kids are "special" and join a secret society where they battle evil.


Not saying anything about the Mysterious Benedict Society. I love those books. But anything else, NO.
