The wind blew the jagged, perilous branches onto her face; scarring not only her face, but her conscience.
Her whereabouts were a mystery to many- including her.
But she kept on running. Blood marked her being. Her face was not visible to even the best sight because of the blood smeared across. She didn't let go. She didn't quit. This girl, Forever, she was going to reach the light at the end.

"How's work?" Effie's daughter asked her.

"Well, they've put my working on a new case. Apparently a girl was reported missing last night." Effie paused taking a sip of her coffee. You might know her from school... Laura Perry?" Effie's daughter's eye's opened wide with surprise.

"Her?!"

"You know her?"

"Well..." Her daughters eye's shifted uncomfortably. "She was talking about some strange things the day before in school..."

"Yes," Effie prompted. Daisy stayed quiet. "You know, you need to tell me if you know something. It could help Laura a-"

"She was talking about her dreams!" Daisy blurted out. Her dreams?, Effie thought. What?
