Default LES MISERABLES FAN CLUB!!!!!!! *whoohoo* (the musical & the book)

Hi! Soo.....who likes the musical (or the book) Les Mierables? That literally translates from French to mean The Miserable, by the way.

I love the musical!!!! And I also have read the abridged version of the book. I know there have to be some people that like this musical/book/movie.

Is that the one about the guy that steals bread and then gets chased by this policeman with OCD?

*squeals again* Yes! Jean Valjean stole bread to save his sister's child (i think that's right) and got put in prison for 19 years. And then, when he got let out, he broke his parole because it was making him an outcast. Because of that, Javert had to track him for 10 years. ^_^

But then there's Fantine, and Cosette, and Marius, and Eponine, and Gavroche... *sighs dreamily*

Default I know, right, Lizzie?

I am going to see the musical in august. It's soooooo good isn't it? I read the abridged version of the book once and there is sooooo much the musical didn't put in. He actually gets put in prison again. But the musical is still EPIC!!!! (everyone seems to like that word on this site)

I NEED TO READ THE BOOK. DDD: I want to find the actualy version (heard it's REALLY long) but I can't find it at the library. I've been meaning to try to buy it on Barnes & Noble or Amazon or something, but I've been...

...procrastinating...

Anywho, did you see the 25th Anniversary Concert? 8D IT WAS AMAZING.

Lizzie, yeah I did see the 25th ann. It was soooo good. Did you like that better or the 10th? I like 10th because the Jean Valjean is AMAZING.

I personally like Alfie Boe more than the guy who played Valjean in the 10th anniversary.

The guy in the 10th anniversary had really thin lips that kinda creeped me out. O-o

And I'm glad that Lea Salonga was in both. 'Cause she was AMAZING. But the guy who played Marius in the 10th anniversary was WAY better than Nick Jonas. >.<

Totally. Nick sang too quietly and he was just...off.
I'm rating the thread 5 because Les Mis is sooooo awesome
Are we the only people that like Les Mis?????????

I LOVE LES MIS!
It is a lifelong dream of mine to play Éponine one day. I do a pretty decent job of siniging "On My Own".
I was literally bawling at "A Little Fall of Rain", when Gavroche dies, and "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables"
