Don't.
Socialism is not the same as Communism. They're two different things. Socialism is said by Karl Marx to be the step between Capitalism and Communism leading up to the perfect society (which is what Communism is supposed to be, it's just that people are selfish and take control, stopping Communism from being the good thing it should be and also giving it a bad reputation).

Because, to have everybody equal on the economic scale, you have to sacrifice the economic freedom of people, though it would mainly impact the once rich.

Who said I didn't know that? Just because I included both doesn't mean I consider them the same. They're similar but not the same and I never said they were.

You made a grammatical error that implied it.
Actually your grammar was probably fine I'm just being weird.

I always get quite sad when I think about how Communism can never work.
It's quite tragic really.

And democratic socialism?

Do you think that would work?

/whispers/ Okay now I'm lost...

Liberetarianism, economically, is not compatible with socialism.

(By the way, why do so many people hate capitalism? The system we have now not only allows people to get what they work for, but also allows the poor to move up economically so they're actually able to get more money. Granted, it's hard, but communism would make people slack off in their jobs so prices would go up, leading to an economic crash.).
