...
Okay I really like algebra and equations and solving for x or other stuff with physics (like f or v or m or p or whatever) but I absolutely despise word problems.
ALSO SUCK IT HEATHER THE QUADRATIC FORMULA IS BETTER THAN FACTORING

Also yes I'm looking forward to calc but mainly because I'll finally be able to solve for the area under a curved velocity/time graph because it's killing me that I can't do it right now when I KNOW it exists.

eh well math is <3 but i basically learn anything above my grade level curriculum by myself bc we don't have the same system that you guys have xD

ahaha i prefer algebra over geometry. geometry is ok in theory but when it comes to actually drawing graphs and diagrams, i get annoyed. the fact that it's more visual than algebra (if you see what i mean) annoys me because sometimes i can't picture the problem i'm working on in my head xD

i have the exact opposite problem... i HAVE to draw everything out and scribble on diagrams and stuff. which is why, to put it simply, geometry > algebra.

They're fun, like riddles and stuff.
But word problems. *Gags*
I'm really clumsy and always do the wrong equation or formula.
THANK YOU! Someone understands my pain. Word problems are the devil's children.

Math is OK. My geometry class is mostly made up of Sophomores. IDEK about my Algebra II w/Trig class yet but I bet its gonna be mainly Upperclassmen.

I'm a freshman and I'm taking Alg2Trig with a few sophomores... I took Geo in eighth grade, Alg1 in seventh, and PreAlg in 6th. I took the test to skip from Alg2Trig to PreCalc but completely bombed. Like, I got a literal F. O_o

OMGosh! My school is on a block schedule so I have four classes first semester and four second Semester so I have Geometry this semester and Algebra II w/ Trig next then I'll either do Algebra w/Finance (which is like mortgages and car payments and real stuff you'll use in life) and maybe PreCalc in upper grades. :P
