Alright, I commented on the main post, but I feel like this might hurt people's feelings because I'm a giant sap and I need to say it. People who don't get nominated and voted might get upset. That's all. Sorry.

If said person thinks that they will be upset if their story doesn't win, then they can ask for it to not be an option anymore.

I feel like the way we're choosing the nominations is kinda biased bc one or two or three people are picking all five people (yes i am saying that i don't think what my own self did was fair) so maybe every KPer could nominate one or two people and then there could be either just Lavinia or maybe there could be a judging committee to narrow the choices down to four or five people. Just a thought

Why?

I like this idea. We asked people and based what they say we pick the nominees and then do a poll for the winner. I prefer that. That's very smart.
I'll post something RN.

I don't like this thing anyway but if you kids wanna do this then I'd advise having a longer nomination and voting period

True. And I don't know why on the NSP post I was put as one of the moderators because I didn't sign up for that or do anything and I don't want to be one.

my comment from the nsp post in case it gets missed on there:

hey i like this idea a lot but i think you should rename the category "craziest fictional character" to something else. crazy is considered a slur against mentally ill people and it perpetuates stereotypes of mentally ill people. other than that, this contest seems pretty good.

a kper named rebecca also did a major contest like this a few years back and if you can find it, it's a good model to draw inspiration off of (but not copy.)

Idk you might be disrespecting people's wishes? which is rly rude tbh
and also like... Idk if you're aware but some of us aren't neurotypical. For some of us this isn't just like "oh darn! I didn't win! *pouts*" for some of us even small insignificant things like this are a really big deal and we will blow them out of proportion and even the smallest things will make us feel like shit we're not good enough I have to be the best I have to be perfect. "Victory" is a touchy subject for some of us, you know~?
