You know you're a writer when...
What makes us writers different from other *coughABNORMALLYNORMAL*cough* people? Like:
You know you're a writer when you have lengthy conversations with your characters.
Or you can do other things, like
You know you're obsessed with cake when you eat it all day. (Bad example)
Anyway.
You know you're obsessed with The Beatles when, if a song comes on the radio, you laugh and scream and inform EVERYONE.
You know you're a writer when you spend your free time churning up plots.
You know you're a Beatles fan when, if The Beatles are mentioned, everyone turns to you, waiting for the moment where you explode with lyrics.

You know you're a writer when you print out your work, read it, crumple it up, stomp on it in frusturation, your friend picks it ups, reads it, says, "OMG, this is AWESOME!!!", and then you point out that there is no plot and that you have too much dialogue and she looks at you like you're a total weirdo.

*nods knowingly* Yes, that is what writers basically do occasionally.
You know you're a writer when you mumble to yourself while trying to devise a plot and everyone stares at you funny.

You know when you're a writer when you think everything you write is crap.
You know you're a writer when you're always trying to compare your writing to other people, & see if you're better. :3

You know you're a writer when you're talking to someone on chat and you're rambling on about your poems, and they're just like: "Umm... okay..." and then they leave. XD

You know you're a writer when you're writing like crazy and you're classmates look amazed. When you notice this, you point out all the plot holes that you're trying to fix and that you're semi-proud of the dialogue but you need more description and they just turn away.

You know you're a writer when you sit on the couch with your head in your hands, someone asks, "What are you thinking about in your own little world?", and you jump up and say, "SO DO YOU THINK YOU CAN THINK UP A REASON WHY THE EVIL SPY HAS BEEN TARGETING THE WRONG CLAN???!!!"

You know you're a writer when you choose from fifteen names of your character, and you end up choosing the one people like least.
You know you're a writer when you start critiquing New York Times bestsellers.

You know you're a writer when you take a harry potter book and mark up every typo.

There's typo's in the Harry Potter books?!?! *le gasp*
*cough*
You know you're a writer when everytime you hear a song you start thinking of what character/part of your book that song matches. :3
Ex.: *"Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce comes on*
Hmm...You know, that reminds me a bit of the climax of the second book of Alaliesia...and a bit of the first one too, when Emerald battles Pralesta...*continued muttering*
