I propose a little character-building game based on the campfire song from the lightning thief musical where we write little verses for everyone’s problems. The musical really does a good job at exploring how shitty things have been for the demigods and I’m really digging it.

I made Alexander’s less depressing and like reasonable for him to actually share so here

Alexander:
My mom is Nike, she always comes first,
It’s always the cream of the crop she endorsed
But as an infant I was never nursed
Oh no,

It was too hard for my dad with her gone
And though he could not, I had to move on

Also I’m writing mine with the timeline as of the campfire after Zeke and Kieran get to camp, so some characters are unclaimed and others not present

it’s so very frustrating to watch

younger me knew throughout his school years
it didn’t save me the heartbreak or from the tears

i like to sing
when it comes to poetry he is the king
but he’s also really annoying!
oh no
he thinks he’s the best, well don’t they all?
when he has a quest i’m the first one he calls (sigh)

now i actually have a plot for pastel xD

so um. she might be talking to other people for a lot of the time because she has some other friends, i'm not going to name their godly parents because some of them would be, erm, hard to explain.

but now she has a plot, a really minor phrophecy that she has told nobody about and the minor gods rely on her to do something about their problems, so she's either her normal, happy self or she's irritated with a headache, no in between

i'll come up with a verse and edit it in ._. and also jump in with some other characters
