Default KidPub History

Okay guys, I thought this was an awesome idea, so why not? This is a thread where we can write KidPub's history. Like all the memorable things that happened over the year, where we can write down all the KPer's who've decided to move on, and make links to their stories so they can be dug up later by the future KidPubber's. Think of it like a time capsule or a scrap book! Wouldn't it be cool that this was still going even after we're gone? It could be a way for the year of 2011 and previous years on KP to be remembered!

I agree with Stara! Will older stuff, like from 2009, also be written down? I want to read it!

I have decided to commandeer this post to post my random links involving KP I don't want to forget. Feel free to look at them. Yeah I'm dating this. :P This post was originally posted on January 10th, 2011. Wow that's a freaking while ago… This is mainly for me to not forget anything, so feel free to have no clue what I'm talking about. Unless you're me.

http://www.kidpub.com/tap (possible free trial)

I've discovered a possibility to view basically any (not deleted) Author's Note. Look at this link: http://www.kidpub.com/shoutbox/edit/117815 I believe that number represents the AN, as in the higher the number, the later it was posted. I'm almost positive of that. So if we can find a way to view Author's Notes like that, like http://www.kidpub.com/shoutbox/view/117815 instead of edit, we would possibly be able to see ANY AN. Like, http://www.kidpub.com/shoutbox/view/1 to see the first one. http://www.kidpub.com/shoutbox/edit/1 doesn't show anything, though there is an error if you try pressing update. http://www.kidpub.com/shoutbox/delete/1 says that we do not have the permission to delete it.

http://www.kidpub.com/story/random-s...ng-p-909108386 (using my story because then there's no having to ask anyone(I'm lazy) and I have a contact tab) See those numbers? The first three are kind of like a username. There can also be one, two, or four. Obviously not very many ones, and not a lot of twos. Perry's, for example, is 1. You can go to their bio by typing in http://kidpub.com/user/ then their number. For example, Perry's bio can be gotten to at http://kidpub.com/user/1 and mine can be gotten to at http://kidpub.com/user/909 For their contact tab, if they have one—which is an easy way to find their number thing—is http://kidpub.com/user/909/contact The second number, 108386, is the post ID thing. You can go to a post by going to http://kidpub.com/node/ then a number. For example, http://kidpub.com/node/108386 will take you to my post.

http://www.kidpub.com/biography/welc...230;-909104173 That's the link to my bio. This is the link to commenting on the post in the above paragraph: http://www.kidpub.com/comment/reply/108386 So, if you combine them, replacing the number of the second one with the first's number, you get a link to commenting on my bio, which unfortunately fails. http://www.kidpub.com/comment/reply/104173 But there's still the error message, which proves it may be possible.

For deleting comments and editing ones that have been replied to, both say we don't have permission. http://www.kidpub.com/comment/edit/207680 That's a comment of mine. http://www.kidpub.com/comment/delete/207680 That's to delete it, but, as I've said, I don't have permission to delete it.

Just tried to edit this AN that was posted by me yesterday(I think). It has an error message when I click Submit, and it won't let me see the AN. http://www.kidpub.com/shoutbox/edit/119050

September 2nd, 2011. The following is for Kiwara and me to find easier, along with whoever else, about embedding Youtube videos:

Here, Kiwara, an explanation:

Click Plain Text, then try to find your place in the post where you want it(you could just place it first, before anything else, then arrange everything around it, and that would work), and paste the following in:
Code:
<embed height="350" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Q_llKly2V70" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425"></embed>
Find the Youtube video you want, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFWRBUEy84k for example, and then copy and paste the random string of characters part(GFWRBUEy84k) into the place of the random string of characters of the code. For example:
Code:
<embed height="350" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GFWRBUEy84k" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425"></embed>
Does that make any sense what so ever?

Hi!

Yeah. Anything that we remember, we should write down.

I wasn't thinking you stole my idea. I couldn't even remember if I had it. Besides, I don't think you would steal an idea. Yay for putting this idea into action!

Hmm... how should we go about doing this? Should we have like certain things, like fights, sayings...or like a collaboration of what happened in '09, '10, and '11?

Okay: We need to find a lot of the people who've recently(as in..the last couple of years) left us. Anyone want to volunteer up a list of peeps we need to recognize?
