haha it definitely ruins the moment
that reminds me of when on tv a rly touching scene is happening in a show and all of a sudden advertisements start and you're just like . why

Yasss I do that so often I kept staring at this one kid at school who was EXACTLY how I imagined one of my protags

It's the other way around for me xD lacking in ideas and struggling to find an idea good enough to write a novel about. The struggle.

I found this quote once where it said that characters are like stones. You have to break them to see what's really inside. And when I put one of my characters through something really emotionally or physically painful... *shudders*

lol i live by that quote (well i just heard of it but like, i love torturing my characters, the more i love them the more pain they experience 8D)
