my friend had a hp themed bday party recently! it was pretty great!!

so there were around 17-20 people invited, and she decorated the entire house to make it hogwarts themed, like with legit decorations. there was a chamber of secrets has been opened again scrawled on the bathroom mirror with red lipstick and lots of snacks like chocolate frogs and butterbeer and also every flavor jelly beans and the downstairs living room was split into four "common rooms" for the houses, and she had everyone get sorted by having them pick names out of a hat and each house competed in the every flavor jellybean challenge where everyone had to eat one and guess the flavor and some of them were really bad xD and we made our own wands with long wooden toothpick-like sticks and hot glue and black paint and also we all had to dress up in a cloak and stuff and it was great
there was supposed to be quidditch but it got too late, so at the end we switched the theme to witchcraft and ouija board and tarot cards which were fun too
hope you have a great bday and party~

I like that idea but how about you do year two and have everyone play a character or year five (Ginny: Don't worry. It's only Loony Lovegood.
