Was he your favorite of the Republicans? I think my cousins (who are Evangelical) probably liked him a lot. One set of grandparents really LOVE Trump, another is fine with Clinton, and another is split between hating Trump (though they're Republicans and generally pretty conservative) and hating Clinton.

In my family, we all love Bernie, and at this point, it's about choosing Hillary as the lesser of two evils. (Although my family also hates her, as well as Bill.) In my opinion, this election is so messed up because of Trump because instead of voting for who we think should be president, we're voting for who will have a better chance of beating Trump.

ha well it's what everyone around me is doing, so...

is anyone watching the democratic convention? i'm not, but i just got a notification saying that speakers keep on being interrupted by 'bernie' chants

Well my family is generally republican but I think we don't like many of the candidates in the running. If a democratic candidate will do better than a republican candidate, we will vote for the former in a heartbeat.

Of course, I'm not eighteen yet and (in my limited experience) politics are pretty messed up, so I really don't know much.

Interesting note: there was this thing on television where a dude was supporting Trump and I quote myself saying "Maybe it's just because I'm prejudiced, but I just hear a lot of bullsh-"
