Vander's attention wandered from the insurance ad playing, and returned to the gouges in the arms of his hoodie. Weren't the classes at the Academy supposed to help him control his powers? Of course, his power was unique, even at the largest school for superhumans in the world. Even so, it had been pretty much a miracle he had gotten in at all.

Felix was completely lost. How did he get lost you may ask? Well, the answer is simple.
Telepathy.
One would think that telepathy would actually make it easier to find your way around. You could just pluck the information from a passerby's head without going through the trouble of asking for directions. But no, for Felix it was the exact opposite. He had forgotten how crowded the streets were, and the overwhelming feedback of thoughts from every direction was making him disoriented and dizzy.
Without realizing it, he ended up circling the block five times, until he finally got frustrated enough to tap into Azalea's mind and ask her for her help.
'Hey um Azalea?'
'Yes?'
'I... may or not be lost.' he thought sheepishly.
A sigh could be heard through their mental connection. 'Just... hold on a minute, I'll come andvget you. okay?
'Okay!'
Meanwhile, back at the Academy, Azalea had Dylan backed into a corner as she glared menacingly at him. "Listen up, cousin dear," she started in a dangerously seeet tone. "You are going to be nice to Felix and talk to him, or I will drain all the water from your body. Am I understood?"
Dylan hurriedly nodded. He hadn't seen Azalea for quite awhile, but he didn't remember her ever being so scary.
She smiled at him. "Good. Now pull yourself together, man up, and go escort Felix to the movie theatre." She rolled her eyes fondly. "He's lost again."
"Er, yeah um okay. Where is he?" Plants sprouted out from the 17 year old's pocket as he fidgeted nervously.
Azalea waved her hand dismissively. "Knowing him, he's probably still stuck on the same street. You'll find him easily enough." With that she turned and walked away, leaving Dylan to find his way out of the Academy.

Vander still remembered the day the team of armed robbers had attacked the bank. One of the people visiting the bank turned out to be one of the Academy's staff in disguise. As the gunmen stormed into the building to hold up the bank's managers at gunpoint, the superhuman unleashed a mighty gale of wind that dragged several of the black-clothed thug into the air. They thrashed helplessly as the others began firing on him with assault rifles. The bullets were tossed harmlessly into the air with another gust. Vander had heard those shots and shown up to see if he could help at all.

The superhuman was trying to form a tornado-like surge of wind and keep back the stream of bullets at the same time. One bullet made it through the howling wind and slashed into the man's arm. He snarled, the wind fading. He would have been done for, but at that moment Vander had dropped from the windowsill, bullets ricocheting off his deadly arm-blades. A violent slash and two criminals collapsed to the ground. Then Vander lunged forward to take out another. The Academy staff-member also had the power of regeneration and the gun wound closed in a few seconds.

Then a whirling gale of wind sucked up the remaining criminals, hurling them against the wall and unconscious. Vander smiled as he remembered the teacher telling him there was a place to refine his powers. That's how he had ended up at the Academy.

No no you'd didn't kill it, I just don't know when to bring my character in again. Also, for Re if she sees this, Carme was having a conversation with the ghost, right? It would be nice if Cairbe(forgive me if that's not his name) could answer. Carme just told him her name

No you didn't kill it. I was just busy and after you left I was like "eh I'll just wait for Jack anyway." Btw I'll have Nellie say something to Vander soon but I can't rn so maybe in like an hour or two?
