I have 1.50 in my left eye and 2.00 in my right eye (for all you glasses people, you might know what that means). I'm nearsighted. I hate it when people take your glasses off, look through them, and say "Wow, you really can't see!". You wouldn't go up to a disabled person, take their wheelchair away, and say "Wow, you really can't walk!".
I just came back from an eye doctor appointment where I got contacts. For 30 minutes I tried to take out a contact. I failed miserably. For 15 minutes I tried putting one in (I had both in to start, but then one fell out because I sub-consciously rubbed my eye, so for 30 minutes I was dizzy because I could only see out of one eye), again failing miserably. Then for the remainder of the time I tried taking my one remaining contact out. No luck. Now my eyes are puffy and red and swollen and I STILL can't put a contact in or take one out. FML.
I'm not allowing anyone to try on or even touch my glasses, because once I put them down and somebody accidentally sat on them. This was after the lens already fell out while I was wiping them off on my shirt, so it bent the frames and we had to throw them away.

I recently started playing sports with glasses on, because without them all I see are skin-colored blobs running around. I have such bad eyes that when I look at my knees, they're blurry. I'm 5'7.

Believe me, its no dust. Their clear looking bubbles in assorted colors and there's hundreds of them and they float all around. I see them mostly when looking at the sky so I can't enjoy a good view anymore

I think I might've seen one before… I have no idea if I'm right or not, but they might possibly be called floaters.

No, it is dust. Dust is made out of tiny particles (including flea poop [I'm sure you're glad I said that], actually) that are multicolored. I get them all the time, especially when playing softball or cleaning the house.
If I'm thinking about what you're talking about.

I know, right! I'm nearsighted, but people always act like I'm blind!
Although, I'm a tomboy and try and avoid wearing them, so some people don't even know I wear them...:P
