Default Nicolas Flamel

I just discovered there's no thread for this! So I decided to do what I don't usually do and make one. I mean, I can't be the only one here who's completely obsessed with these books, right?! (this is a.k.a The Alchemyst series)

Oh, and Scathach is amazingly awesomesauce

It's about these twins, Sophie and Josh Newman, who have pretty much normal lives until their employer's bookstore is attacked by a bunch of magical creatures. They later learn that the bookstore owner is actually a magician named Nicolas Flamel (hence the title of the series), and that his archenemy, John Dee, attacked the bookstore to steal this really important book of magic, the Codex of Abraham the Mage, so he could help the evil and mysterious Elder Race. Sophie and Josh also find out that they're the twins mentioned in the Codex and that they alone have the power to save the world from Dee and the Elders.

And Scathach is a vampire warrior maid who is just really awesome in general. ^-^
