(*hoping this is directed at me*) (*even if it's not screw it I like recommending things*)

Mistborn and The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson (pretty sure you've already read those though?), The Name of the Wind, The Wise Man's Fear, and The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss (<---- favourites), and The Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch.

yes xD it was directed at you.

I haven't read Mistborn, but I've a couple hundred pages of The Way of Kings. I have heard of The Name of the Wind, and I've wanted to pick it up, but I wasn't sure if its as any good. And I'll look at the others on goodreads. Thanks

I just replotted my new bookish thing (sci-fi called Memory Locked) and I'm really excited because now it's significantly shorter (and therefore more appealing to agents– they don't like 150k+ monsters) aND I ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT HAPPENS unless the characters decide to change it. They probably will, but ehh I can be happy for now.
