Riverecho walked silently through the moor, her whiskers twitching with the apprehension of prey. She paused among the tall grass, tasting the air.

Iceheart stalked alongside the river. He waited and listened with quiet paws. He heard a faint noise, looking up. He saw that it was a cat.

Riverecho kept walking, weaving in and out among the grass. She paused when she reached a hill, staring out over the moorlands with a distant river cutting through it. She started toward the river, the border to the territory, picking up her pace until she was trotting.

Redwing saw Rivereco cross the border accidently. She must have been so caught up in hunting she didn't notice the border mark. "What do you think you're doing on ThunderClan terittory?" Whiteheart growled.

Riverecho straightened up, startled by an unfamiliar voice interrupting her thoughts. Looking around she spotted a cat she didn't recognize. "Thunderclan territory?" She questioned, glaring at the cat. "I do believe that this is Windclan, not Thunderclan's, territory."

"Yes," Redwing hissed. "Now leave before we claw your ears off." Rivereco looked down and reilezed Redwing was right.

Riverecho knew she was on the wrong side of the territory, but that didn't matter. She hissed back, tail thrashing angrily from side to side, her hiss turning into a furious growl. She was strong willed and niave, a bad combination.

Redwing launched herself at Riverecho, her claws out.

Riverecho darted out of the way, raking her claws along Redwing's side as the cat barreled past. She turned and fled, racing onto her half of the territory before turning and looking back.

Iceheart padded alongside Riverecho silently in the trees. He wanted to see where it went.
