idk it's kinda advanced but i'd definitely recommend All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doer (i think that's his last name?)
yeah it takes place during WWII and it's ab a french blind girl and a german boy and it's excellent.
very tasty literature.

Sounds cool. I am a pretty advanced reader but then again I'm only eleven... thanks! I'll try it!

Book: Unravel Me
Author: Taharaj Mafi
Medium: Print
Genre: Science Fiction

Second book in a trilogy, the first book is called Shatter Me. It's not my favourite, the writing is heavily stylized and 99% of it is prosey which I found cringey. However, it's a fast, easy read and there's just enough good stuff there to make me want to get the next book.

I recently read the Young Elites series by marie lu? its pretty good- a little annoying at times but goes in an unexpected direction and has great supporting characters

also cannot recommend the Raven Cycle series enough - some kids in Virginia go searching for an ancient welsh king to get a favor
and another "ya bird book" is the Six of Crows duology which is pretty good - six thieves/gang members go try to break into a fortress for money and to try and prevent war
Beasts Made of Night is also really good- some people are conscripted into "eating" the rich's sins and taj is conscripted into service for the royal family while attempting to protect his family

I would say that of these the raven cycle is least kid-friendly because of heavy-hitting topics like suicide, murder, poverty, and abuse and also a ton of cursing, and that six of crows and the sequel seem geared more towards younger audiences and have no cursing, but there's still a lot of disturbing content like torture and rape and murder.
beasts made of night might be a little more friendly towards younger readers? but there's definitely discussion of awful deeds and class discrimination and things like that. also no cursing in that one either I think
