Seth felt his cell phone vibrate, and he cursed to himself, keeping an eye on the two intruders. He opened the phone and put it to his ear. "Goddamnit Peter, this had better be good..." he muttered in irritation.

Peter cleared his throat.
"Yes, sir, I know. Confederation troops are headed your way, sir! I just intercepted a report that they are in your general area. I don't know what they're doing, that's still calculating, but I know that they're within a mile from you because I'm tracking them. There are over 500, so get the hell outta there!!! They---" Peter stopped suddenly, squinting at another screen to his left. "Sir, there is someone listening in on this call. Probably a Confederate. I'm just saying, get out of there fast!! There's more, sir but I can't disclose it because of this damned eavesdropper. Hurry, sir."

Well that was definately interesting. Unfortunately the only information they had given me as to identities was the name Peter, so I'd have to standby in hopes of gathering further intelligence and so as not to lose anyones location. I didn't have any way to contact the camp without giving away my position, so I'd have to wait til they sent scouts after me to get backup. That could take hours.

*Not my NES so Shayok can veto this or whatever; but I'm fairly certain he'd be cool with you joining. It's cool with me if I have any say in it.*

A phone ringing? Skyler narrowed his eyes. That was odd. The voices didn't usually include phones ringing. He continued his shuffle through the snow, staring straight ahead as if his target would suddenly disappear. He could hear the voice saying something, but all his ears managed to pick up was gibberish, mostly because the voices were still screaming nonsense in his ears.
"Shut up, will you!" He snarled quietly to himself, "I'm tryin' to listen, dammit! How am I supposed to think for myself if you're constantly interruptin' me?" Of course that was the point. He wasn't supposed to think for himself without the necessary vote from the voices. Even then, there was a good chance they would just say "no" and that would be that. Right now though, he felt a sense of power over them. They couldn't stop his feet from moving. All they could do was scream at him to stop. He chuckled lightly at this, his voice laced with insanity and cracking from lack of use. His eyes glittered crazily at this brief moment of freedom. That was only before he tripped up on a snow covered rock. The hope of freedom was dashed when he stumbled, falling face first in the snow. The voices seized their chance to reprimand him, telling him that not even his feet were under his own control, that he was pathetic and needed them. He needed them, that's what they always came down to. He needed them to avoid the Government.
