Dante Alighieri was an Italian author in the 1300s who wrote a very long, very beautiful poem that was also effectively a self-insert Catholic fanfiction. This work, known as the Divine Comedy, is one of the best poems and considered a classic.

I personally love it for the beautiful description and deep goodness in it.

Last night, I read Rosalina's Storybook for the memories.
Let me just tell you-Chapter 7: The Telescope.
That scene when Rosalina says her mother is "sleeping under the tree on the hill"...
Gets me every single time.
