Default A Bit of Lark~ January Edition SPECIAL FOR NEW YEARS

Welcome to the Monthly Thread A Bit of Lark. I'm CJae, momentarily the soul staff, but if you are interested, reply below and I'll interview and see what I can do.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
KP News:
We have a new business running, Nicknaminators! There's a thread in the Random section on it. Simply fill out a form, and the Staff, Wallaby of 25-page-book-contract; Kanga of Ninny and Camel of Sushi *That's me XD* will give you a genuine, hand-picked, incredibly random, one-of-a-kind nickname.

As we all know Lauren is getting published, and she's still excited *I know because she chats my ear off about it when she's online...*. So when it comes out, I'll find the publishing date so we can all buy out the bookstores.

And as always, snaps for Perry who makes this site possible.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Newish Bits:
I'm sure we all know, IT'S NEW YEARS!!!!!! hope you all have a fantastic trip into the new year. 2009... Maybe I'll get published this year...

iPhone is out in Jordan. I know, because my older brother Derik has one and waves it about grinning from ear-to-ear
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Noobies:
This is a section where I'll introduce Noobs. Any of you who aren't sure how to make an intro, tell me and I'll give you the spotlight for a moment here.
This Section will hopefully be up and running for February.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Factoids that are unnecessary!:
A cow gives nearly 200,000 glasses of milk in her lifetime.Got Milk?

Cockroaches can live for 9 days after their head has been cut off. So that's why I see them after I flush them down the toilet...

A sneeze travels out your mouth at over 100 m.p.h. God bless you!

Since 1896, the beginning of the modern Olympics, only Greece and Australia have participated in every Games. That one is for the Aussie's on KP
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Story of the Month:
The title says it all. Next month, I'll take a story, finished or no, and give a little ad and interview on the author. This, enshallah, will be up next month
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Foreign Phrase of the Month:
Arabic: Enshallah: God Willing
German: Ich bin ein berliner: I am a jelly doughnut.
French: Zut toi!: Darn you!

That's all for this month. Remember, I'll need help, so reply.
Also, tell me what you think, or if you want more sections.

HAPPY 2009!!!!!!

*agrees with Kanga* She's getting proffesionally published, after all.

*Afterthought: Will I ever get published? Who's ever heard of a published ten year old? Why am I talking to muself? Urgh.*
