In the battlefield,
I stand as its leader,
Proudly waving my flag
of justice,
of emotion,
of promise,
of hope.
Wearing my armor
of steel,
of metal,
of dreams,
but even still
I cannot push away
the feelings that enter my mind.
What if I
fall?
What if I
trip?
What if I
never get back up?
But another part of my mind
speaks overhand,
telling me,
"Keep on fighting."
And I hesitantly
agree with that part,
fighting on and
waving my flag
even more proudly,
as I step into the world
for the battle of my life.
For you.
Because I am a warrior.
I have Courage.
