Dancing in the Flames

in my dreams, flying with my angel friend.

January 5th, 2013

Your head was on fire

With the flames of the devil

You held yourself up

Like nothin' could ever bring you down

You're a building  on fire

All flames to yourself

Like you were

You dance within the flames,

Hold your hands up,

Let the world spin,

Let your laugh soar

Life is  just messed up

Let the fire grow

Up into the sky

You know you won't get burned

Hold his hands

Look into the sun

Treat him like a god, girl

But he's worse than dirt,

You're blind, girl

Blind to the rage, girl

The pleas, girl

The pain, girl

The screams, girl

You smile like a demon, girl

Your mind is broken

Shattered from the pain

Like a cat, girl

Stalking your prey

Strike them once

Let them suffer

See the pain

Feel relief

They're a mouse

You can kill

Hold up the broken mirror

Let loose a broken smile

Make the children run.

You're in love with the fire

Infatuated with the flames

You got ten degree burns, girl

Yet, you think you're free

You strike a match

Put it to their faces

Just to see the pain

Lit a match

Throw it down

Burning to the ground

The walls are broken

No one there to fight

You let the devil in, girl

How can you not see?

Blind girl

Blind girl

Burning up

No pain inside

Only lust

You're empty girl

Just a husk

All your pain

In the fire

Hear the screams

Risin' higher

Silent plea of help

Let the music play, girl

Scream out in rage, girl

Fire in the rooms

Fire in your eyes

Burning in the pits of hell, girl

You never knew

Had to ask

What to do

Feel the pain, girl

Bubblin' all inside

All your soul gone

Seepin' in your pain

Lit a match

Throw it down

Burning all around

Let it rain, girl

Wash your pain

All away

Scream in rage,

Find a light

Let it burn

A silent plea of help

Dry your tears

Don't sucumb

Light a match

Strike it once

Let the children run.

That is seriously disturbing

That is seriously disturbing and seriously one of my all-time favorite poems now. :DD I just adore the topic, the flow, the everything. Chills ran throughout my entire body reading it and picturing it. (I especially like the thing about smiling into a broken mirror and letting the children run. :3)  This was sincerely epic and is now in my favorites. :3 Nicely done, girl! (Or, um, I SUPPOSE you're a girl. xD)

(To C. T.)

Aw thank you! I am glad my poem portrayed that! I made this up by sing a little song with words that burst into my strange little brain, and wrote what I said down. Thank you, thank you! I strife (or strive, not sure) for epicness!

Thank you so much. You just made me smile!

(To Confuzzled.) Aww thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

That was absolutely

That was absolutely terrifying. And for that, I LOVED it. So dark, so creepy... FAVED!

Okay, here's my theory: Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga are actually Capitol citizens who couldn't stand The Hunger Games, so they invented a time machine and traveled back to our time and became pop stars. O.O

For some reason, I'd like to

For some reason, I'd like to experience that feeling...not in a literal way, of course not.
Epykal poem, overall.

In the morning, there will be a link to this in mg bio because this is just so freaking awesome. Gahh! Toooooo awesome.
I'm not really sure how this came about but I perceived the tale of someone with Stockholm Syndrome. You know where someone gets kidnapped and then joins their kidnappers? O_o
Scary and beautiful. Just so wonderful that I think it is indescribable. ^_^
I. Will. Never. Ever. Ever. Everrrrrrrrrrrrr. EVER. Get enough of your awe-inspiring poetry. You are wonderful. ^_^

ERMAGERD. Another one of

ERMAGERD. Another one of your amazing comments that I never replied to. That never gets old.

This poem is the one that I posted a while ago. It was my first okay poem, and I was so exhilerated by it! Now it's like, could've been better. Weird how that happens.

Because of all my GAHH encouragement. I know that question is rhetorical, but I'm still answering. Pandora, especially Florence + The Machine. Emotions. The sky. Gahh like that. Ellie, you are so freaking amazing!

The fav button is broken? I'll call the repair man, don't worry! xD

You shouldn't. It's so. I'm honored. You're fantastical comments that are so freaking beautifully GAHH are enough. :D

No, but I'll google it. xD

Scary and beautiful. Those words are forever in my heart. Kind of remind me of life.

And same to you with your comments. :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

Oh my gosh I LOVE Florence + The Machine!!!!! Especially "Never Let Me Go". The emotion is just so palpable. But yes, that was a rhetorical question. Although I'm glad you answered it! XD
Scary and beautiful... I guess that does define life. O.o
Aww… thanks! :DDDDDDD
