stories.
people will come to read these stories,
even if a mere plethora of blathering,
again
and again
and again.
no matter how
hopeless
the situation,
history repeats itself
(although it doesn't always tend to do that)
in our rebellion,
just for a minute,
our stories can't even be considered stories,
but rather, art
art that might be doomed to fade in a 100 years
oh well, at least it lasted longer
than other great things we have,
correct?
clicking away at keybooards,
fingers swiping away at phones,
eyes scanning layers of text
(it's all natural)
we treasure the time we have here
no matter if it's 6 minutes, or even seconds
we go back for seconds,
and there we no longer become ants on an ant farm
we become writers.
our words are no longer just words
they are reality
even if it happens to be morbid, at least it gives you a scoop on something,
correct?
laying somewhere,
eyes unblinking,
in tired hands a
phone,
keyboard,
or something else
and finally for a moment,
we rest our tired minds,
and hope to see another day
but with all stories,
no matter if real or not,
all must end with two words.
the end.

I relate incredibly to the sentiment of this poem. I type and type and type and read and create and enter a stream of something bigger than me. You too?
The clever usage of words here delighted me: "no matter if it's 6 minutes, or even seconds
we go back for seconds,".
Thank you for dedicating this to me <3
Good yard,
(Warmest regards)
