I look into the sky
Eyes unblinking, mesmerized
Into the moment, I'm like a painting
A painting of
Memories,
Thoughts,
Feelings.
But even still
The painting is nothing
Without its paint,
no?
Gives it
life,
color,
meaning.
And that's when I met you.
You gave me
lfie,
color,
meaning,
filling up my painting,
filling up my happiness.
I'm overjoyed,
because it let me understand that everyone needs someone.
You are that someone.
