Inspired by Max's new post titled ' :( :('
Hey Kidpub! I really am coming to my senses. This 'idea' is inspired by our fellow Kidpubber, Max. I know what it fekt like when nobody reviewed my stories. I felt that I didn't succeed. I felt that I didn't deserve a review. I felt like there are more important stories to be reviewed than mine. I felt very upset. But then somebody reviewed them and it really made me happy. Most of them or perhaps all of them had to do with me asking them and the reviewer offering them. So here I am, with an offer. An offer that will make you happy. If I were you, it would make me happy. Picture this: You've had a pretty rotten day, you get on Kidpub, start looking at all the stories and such, but then you see it. The post with (in the title) the title to one of your stories. You automatically click it and then BAM you are either reading a review about your book that is either positive or negative. You're either happy or determined to write better, if you take the review professionally and if the reviewer reviewed your story in a professional manner. Anyway, I'm here with an idea inspired by Max's post. I'm so surprised that I haven't came up with it before. Who here on Kidpub would like me to review their story. I may not have time to read all FORTY chapters (if you have written that many) but I'll have time to read a decent amount that can help me define your story. Please fill out this form and post it in a comment and BAM your story will be reviewed.
Name of story:
How many chapters are out?:
If you are too lazy or too tired to get me a link, that is alright. I'll just have to find it myself but I would really appreciate it if you gave me a link. It's as easy as one, two, three. If you have multiple stories you want me to review, copy and paste the form multiple times. I can also review a poem or a song. I would prefer it if you had a bunch of poems and songs, maybe 'bout three? That I can review all in one post. This is my grading system:
A + = 10 stars
A = 9.5 stars
A- = 9 stars
B + = 8.5 stars
B = 8 stars
B - = 7.5 stars
C + = 7 stars
C = 6.5 stars
C - = 6 stars
D + = 5.5 stars
D = 5 stars
D - = 4 stars
F = under four stars
I doubt any of your stories will be graded an F. Now, as I read more of your story after I review it. The grade may change. If I feel it needs to be changed. If I feel your story has improved. Remember, don't take it too emotionally if your story get's graded loow. Which I doubt any story will be graded low but hey! you never know. But instead of taking it as an insult or taking it the wrong way, try to professionally take the grade as it is and try to make that grade higher. Go to various websites and find new writing techniques an such. Most writers like reading so read more stories and just practice. No one is born a doctor, teacher, or even an amazing writer. We all work to get there. Always remember that my friends. All of us worked to get where we are now. And that's the only secret, practice, practice and more practice. Anyone can write amazing stories if they just try. And complaining and getting upset by those who have succeeded in life doesn't give you time to practice. Stop looking at other's work and start working on yours.
Keep an eye out for you're review! It may come when you least expect it.
Until next time,
