*Important Note*
This is an alternate universe, so this is NOT Awakening of Magic Joey. This is a seperate version. Now that that's done with, here it is!
He remembered when he had first discovered magic. Young, naive, delightful. Joey wondered how he had gotten into this mess. Toucagon wings as a result of being half-Toucagon.
He could fly, yes, very fast, but apart from that, his wings were more of a pain.
Thinking out loud, remembering how, when he had discovered magic and said that it was real, he said, "It always was real. I was just the first user..."
And his best friend, Rebecca, knowing how much he loved jewelry, had unknowingly given him a few magical artifacts: The red earrings that he treasured above all, and the grey, teardrop shaped necklace. She had given them to him because she knew that he would use them more than she would. He had worn them every day since he got them, and hadn't outgrown either.
