Talking in the dark

in Wonderland

I've always liked talking in the dark
When you introduce me to reality you can't see the tears I know you'd try to comfort me for
I'm not looking for comfort
I guess what I'm saying is, I want to look strong

I've always been scared of the dark, for I don't know what it holds
Yet darkness is my new best friend
It keeps my secrets well hidden
It always provides shelter

I wanna scream all of the pain out
Those screams come in the form of salty tears slithering down my cheeks
I wanna shout back
But I stay silent

Darkness is all the comfort I need
I don't need you to ever try and take back your words in and effort to comfort me
I'm a big girl now
I can handle the truth of reality

Wow. I don't know about you,

Wow. I don't know about you, but to me, this poem had two meanings. I don't know... I just liked this poem. Good job :)

I especially like the last little chunk/stanza/paragraph. Sorry, I don't really know what to call it.
