These Bright Colors

Every day

I feel you burn me

I hear your whispers

Your taunts

Your laughs

I see your eyes

Not caring

Not looking past mine

Not seeing

You call me loser

You stomp on me like a doormat

Wipe your dirt on someone else

I know inside

Is what counts

Is what you should see

Is what you should know

You don’t

Peel away my layers

To dig deep

And see

These bright colors

Bright sparkle shine

Glitter neon rainbow

These bright colors

Is what’s inside

These bright colors

Are what make me

If you can’t see that

If you can’t know

Find another doormat

To wipe your dirty words on

And just go

This is me

Whether you like it or not

These bright colors

Are me

I really liked this part:

I really liked this part:  "If you can't see that/If you can't know/find another doormat/to wipe your dirty words on/and just go."

I feel like it finished it off very well.
