Your heart sounds like a war zone

when I press my ear against its cage

Booming and rumbling

Loud and strong

The rise and fall of your breaths

are like the ocean

at the shoreline

A gentle tide

The calm after a storm

or the stillness before a hurricane

Your chest is warm sand

Your eyes burn down cities
