Rhythm is soaring
and the pearl snow blankets
A white dove dusted in soot
So short, but such a lovely image.
(Oh, also, I see what you did there with the syllables. 5, 6, 7. Clever. I'll make a little one in the comments just to try it out.)
If the dove should stir
White wings beating soft ice,
She will leave an angel's shape.
